It's not meant to be! X and I have been to the popular game "boutiques" (EB, Gamespot, etc) and none of them have the preorder boxes. WTF? Guess it's off to best buy (I hope)....

I wouldn't even trust best buy, mine said they hadn't even heard the news of it coming yet, the sales people guestimated it'd come sometime in April or May...

4 boxes?! Do you have four accounts? I didn't plan for it to work out that way... 1. Obviously I needed the first account. 2. I got the second account because there just wasn't enough character slots. 3. On a cross country trip to visit family, I realized that i forgot to bring a GW install CD and my nephew would certainly want to play. Ended up buying another copy at the store. 4. Found out that there was a Collectors edition that had Devine Aura. So 1, 2, and 4 are in BGN and 3 is used for testing/playing with cape designs, guild halls and guild functions.

Okay, my best buy still doesn't have it and I don't think they ever will get the pre-order before the actual release of factions. Anyone have any suggestions on what else to do?

Plus, ya don't need the box for the next Factions event on the 24th, you only need the pre-order key to get early access to Factions and the bonus items.

I checked at my local YES store last night. No sign of factions.... That's not where I usually shop anyway though.

I do believe you are correct. Definately some new faces and hair styles.
I also like some of the new skills for the original classes.

Any ideas on how we will handle the Guild alliances? Are there folks out there trying to line up guilds yet? --Presort P.S. Notice that I said "we".

well we have a few guilds we COULD go with- presonally I fancy seeing if ULGG want an alliance with us. Lost track of the guilds we are in contact with now though.

Any ideas on how we will handle the Guild alliances? Are there folks out there trying to line up guilds yet? Yep, that's already being looked at. Spirit, ULGG is actually an alliance of six guilds already, just one without an in-game mechanism that ties them together. (Hmm, that does leave four slots open...) I'm not sure of the requirements for membership.

here's a link from Gamestop***The Guild Wars: Factions Collector's Edition contains:- Factions Game
- Factions Premium Art Book (Concept and In Game Art)
- Factions Desk Calendar
- Factions Mouse Matt
- Factions “Cantha” Poster
- Factions Sticker Set
- Factions Sound Track CD from Jeremy Soule
- Exclusive in game CE items –Signature Emotes for Ritualist and Assassin professions in Factions. Special ‘emotes’ usable exclusively by players who purchase the Guild Wars Factions Collector's Edition. Customers with a CE access key on their account will be able to trigger special dances for Ritualist and Assassin characters. These will be augmented versions of the standard dance, with special effects, and when the dance begins several backup dancers will appear behind the character to augment his dance moves with custom backup dances. For the Ritualist, these will be dancing spirits, similar to the spirits that he summons on the battlefield. For the Assassin, these will be shadowy assassins who do "ninja-style" moves synchronized with the character's dance.
***=I have not seen this confirmed anywhere
