he ,Dr Mao..; no no Dr Moa it seems to me i have a big problem , continious twisted words , mispel them , forget some letters in a word , and I still feel a lack off sleep , is it yet lag because the game is on the USA or is it just lag ? So you are lagging are you Mystique? There are a couple things you can do. First get rid of those cookies in your system. Not only do they slow you down, but they can also add some unnecessary pounds. Secondly check yourself for spyware. Have you been in strange places that you should have been? Or perhaps you accepted certain incentives from strange sites? Then you may have some spyware you aren't aware of. Thirdly, try to reboot yourself. This may entail going out and grabbing a drink or two or five --just enough until you pass out. Once you have a hard sleep it will seem like a solid reboot and all will be well. Hope that helps!

Dear Doc Moa, I was looking for you in the last BWE of Feb and could not find you. However, I think there may be an imposter of Doc Moa running around GW calling himself Strider? Could you elaborate on this, and help my confusion? Thank you.
Signed.......... too many blonde moments and not enuff GW

Dear TMBMANEGW,
Sorry ever so much for the confusion, of course time travel can be disorenting... Strider, our title before the Sear, when some of us were lazy and complacent about the Charr threat. When we were content to focus on the gentler aspects of life since Ascalon was at relative peace behind the Wall. Those of us who survived formed the RCU after fleeing to Lion's Arch. There we took the title of MOA: Mavtiketan Othedios Acklaon which loosely translates into your tounge as: Avenger and Redemer of Ascalon. This was the oath pronounced by our Elders at the founding of the RCU to fight the Charr until either us or them are no longer found on Tyria.

LOL I've always wondered what MOA stood for but does it have to be so hard to pronounce? Speaking of which ... I have a problem Doc. It has to do with Coach's name. How the heck do you pronounce the last part of Famir the Boowe? Is that boo-wee? Or just bow-ah? That extra oh in the middle and that eeh at the end is really throwing me off and I'm getting all verklempt over here. Please help.

Answer 1: Boowe: obs, middle english for Bow. Pronounce as you see fit Firin. Dr. Mao with the release of new pets do you tnk moas will never be used as a pet again? Answer 2: If you have a 'pet' Moa, Legothir, you do NOT have a RCU graduate. We are currently looking into expanding our curriculum to accomodate the new companions, but our board of Eldars hasn't made its final decision yet. So until we announce the new programs, be sure to only travel with genuine RCU graduates.

Dear Doc Moa, Please let us know the approved RCU pet graduates as I may be looking for a pet in the near future. Would you know if a kitty or a wolf would be available? How would I be able to tell if he is a graduate of your school? Do you all wear RCU tatoos?? Thank you for your answer in advance. Signed Also Searching for a Pet to Come Along on a mission with me

Dear Dr. Moa,
First time writer, long time reader. I have been recently diagnosed with G.W.A.S (Guild Wars Abscence Syndrome). The Monks tell me to rest and take a wait-and-see attitude for now but I need a second opinion. Can you help?
Sincerely,

TT,
GWAS is an emerging syndrome that has spread faster than 'Devourer Fever'... Fortunately, the good Monks and Seers have for-told of a cure a mere 1 and a half score days away...
In the mean time, you'll be able to get a gamma globulin shot at the clinic in approximatly 5 days... Follow that with a booster in a month and you should have full immunity by release. (But I get the feeling the final fortnight may see a massive resurgence.)

Dear Dr. Moa I'm in desperate need of "gamer's viagra" as I am having a great deal of trouble getting it up for other games. Today I started deleting games! What's going on? I've always been a game philanderer and never worried once about what game I would wake up to after an all nighter. Am I mellowing Doc? Am I ready to settle down with just one game? I don't know if I'm ready for such a commitment. And I'm scared. Need help. The Fir

Fir, Well you must understand that we Moa are not inhibited by this concept of monogamy or fidelity (other than RCU graduates, but that is a special case)... so with a little travel to take my mind off the lull between weekends it has taken some time for me to formulate an adequate response to your dilemma. In my research, I stumbled across this quotation attributed to William H. Murry that you may give you some respite: Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.
Should this fail, there is always the immotal words of Homer J. Simpson "Son, a woman is like a beer. They smell good, they look good, you'd step over your own mother just to get one! But you can't stop at one. You wanna drink another woman!" Subsuitute video game for beer/woman and I think you have your answer.

I would be the last person to question the genius of H.J. Simpson but W.H. Murry's words ring truer for me. Standing upon a cliff in the midst of darkened Lion's Arch beside fellow ranger, Guy de Glastonbury, we witnessed the most spectacular light show, whilst being pummeled by the shrieking eels. It was a most ephemeral experience and lent some insight into my existence ... tis Tyria where my heart belongs.

Dear Doc Moa, My concerns have turned from inward to rather outward. You have always given such sage adivce to many a BGN lad or lass during out BWE weekends and lack of them. Will you still be here for all of us, once the game is released? Or do you have plans of a holiday? Also, why have I not seen you in the pub? Does Firin's wolf chase you away? Dear COLDMC,
Sorry for my abscence, we have a record enrollment here at the academy and I've been swamped with whipping the new recruits into shape. No worries however as I am tenured faculty, so I'm not going anywhere.
As long as there are rangers in need of a quality companion, I'll be here. As long as the Charr threaten Ascalon, I'll be here. As long as the Stone Summit hold the Shiverpeaks, I'll be here. As long as the swamps of Kyrta are overrun with the Undead, I'll be here. As long as there are White Mantle, I'll be here. As long as there is favor to be won from the gods, I'll be here.
And no, Firin's wolf is a good chap... I've been in the cellars of the Pub checking on how my Dr. Moa Merlot is aging. It's a special blend of the last vintage before the Searing... It should be ready about now, ask Firin for a bottle!

Dear Doc Moa, Will you still be here when Factions comes about? Also, do you participate in VD ? Why is the pub always packed and I can never find a good seat? So many questions, so little time... Sincerely, LOST on an unknown island somewhere in time

*YAWN* *Stretch* Well, bless my tail feathers! Some one finally decided to come into my office and leave me a note! Let's see where to start. Dear LOST, Factions. Oh, yes. I do plan on being around for Factions and I have a few insights into it (as you know). All I can say is you will be very glad to meet some of our recent RCU graduates. We've got a fine graduating class who is ready and willing to jump into the Faction action. Do I participate in VD? I think that's a rather personal question. Plus, I've had all my shots so I'm fairly sure I am clean. Why is the pub always packed? Well, I hear it's because of the salt they use on the peanuts at the bar. Or maybe it was the salt they use on the rim of the glasses. Or maybe it had nothing to do with salt at all and it's just the good company. Yes, I believe that's it -- good company. -- Dr. Moa

Okay, here's my first time asking you something Dr. Moa, so here goes,
Dear Doctor Moa, I have called several of my local game stores and they have yet to even hear what the deal is the GW factions pre-release edition. I want the new weapons and the early access. What should I do? Sincerely, A desperate gamer
P.S(Have you met Pancake yet?)

Dear ADG,
There seems to have been some confusion with the release of the Factions Pre-Orders. It seems our Krytan currier was told to expect to deliver the boxes on the 5th of Grenthstide, but we forgot that Cantha uses a revised calendar based on their whole issue with the frozen sea... As such, the boxes shipped on the 9th of Jadeshard, which, if you consult the Moa Universal Calendar (MUC), you'll see is a week late.
-- Dr. Moa
PS: I happen to love Spiders, especially deep fried with a nice hot mustard dipping sauce, so I would love to meet Pancake.

My first question too...
Dear Dr. Moa,
Are you related to or familiar with the Black Moa located deep in Kurzick lands in GW: Factions? Aerina Rox and I found the Black Moa to be a most amiable and loyal, albiet fierce, companion. And yet, the Kurzicks seem to think the Black Moa is a fearsome menace and are afraid. Were Roxy and I duped by our Black Moa friends, or were the Kurzicks the ones who didn't understand the Moa's true nature?
Sincerely,
Missing My Moa

Were Roxy and I duped by our Black Moa friends, or were the Kurzicks the ones who didn't understand the Moa's true nature? Sincerely, Missing My Moa Dear MMM, I see you had the honor of meeting my younger cousins. Even though they listen to heavy metal and dress a little more Goth than us old world Moa's -- I think, and their grades in RCU coursework shows, they are some of the most resilient companions available to Rangers in Cantha. Of course being they are family I may be a little bias. As far as the Kurzicks attitude's toward the Black Moas, well -- suffice to say -- the Kurzicks are more than a little narrow minded when it comes to certain things and my cousins are included in that list. The Kurzicks have yet to realize there is a soft sentimental side to that harsh goth exterior. Given time they will see the potential in my little cousins...just don't let my cousins know I said that -- I'll never hear the end of it at the next family reunion. See you in Cantha soon! Dr. Moa
