shame on you, asking that, like how people ask Strong Bad how he types with boxing gloves on his hands. Dear Dr. Moa, I am curious, who cleans up after you? Even a smart bird like you must have to poo sometimes My goodness Yoko. What a strange question. But if you must know I spend a lot of times out doors and I let nature take its course (so to speak), where the Great Moa intended. Happy now?

How great is this Great Moa, is he better than the Great Pumpkin?

How great is this Great Moa, is he better than the Great Pumpkin? Well in Moa theology all dieties have somewhat equal pull--but the Great Moa reigns above them all. Now I'm not familiar with the Great Pumpkin sect of Moaism--but I hear they are very friendly people. Did that answer your question?

Inquiring minds want to know Doc Moa, do you peck faster than Strong Bad can type? Hmmm... Tough call on that one. And knowing Strong Bad's reputation, well, I wouldn't say I was faster even if I was.

Dr. Moa, how do you stay awake all the time during the betas? All of our running around must tire you. YAAAAAAAWN. STREEEEEEETCH. Oh! I'm sorry Yoko. I didn't realize you had asked a question. I was taking my 153 hour pre-BW nap. That way I can stay awake during the beta.

that explains it rather well! Dr. Moa, do you have anything to cure nightmares? Lately, I have had trouble sleeping, and whenever I do get to sleep, I always have terrible nightmares, how can I stop them? Nightmares you say? Have you tried setting it up on a date with a Daystallion? Ha-ha-ha, Oh--excuse me I just love that joke. Seriously there are a few things you need to consider about your life style if you are having a lot of nightmares: 1) Are you eating too close to bed time? You should really stop eating at least 1 hour before bed. 2) Caffeine in take. Are you drinking more than one cup of coffee worth of caffeine a day? If so you may want to cut back on your in take. 3) Oedipus or Antigone Complex? If you have either of these it could be contributing to nightmares--seek council from an expert if so. 4) Angry monkies in your room. Horrible smelly creatures, I dare say even having them in your house could cause nightmares. 5) Smelly feet. Perhaps fumes from your feet are drifting up under the covers and are causing toxic chemicals to form in your brain, thus producing nightmares. If one or more of these applies to your situation then change the variable to see if it helps rememdy the nightmares. Good luck and sleep tight!

Dr. Moa could my moa battle you? Could your Moa battle me? Of course he could and I bet he would be a tough competitor. But would he win? Well, my dear Legothir, I am afraid not. In fact--I dare say if any bird wanted to beat me they would have to get out of the nest pretty early in the morning to beat old Dr. Moa. And that just isn't going to happen.

Dr. Moa I have a problem. I'm two-timing my pet and I'm feeling really guilty about it. Now I've always thought of myself as a one-pet guy but you know how urges can get the best of us. What do I tell Deathrain?

Dr. Moa I have a problem. I'm two-timing my pet and I'm feeling really guilty about it. Now I've always thought of myself as a one-pet guy but you know how urges can get the best of us. What do I tell Deathrain? Signed, Sleepless in Shiverpeaks Dear SiS, That is a tricky situation. Especially when you are dealing with creatures that could easily kill you in a fit of jealous rage as you eat breakfast. Perhaps, Deathrain will not take it that horribly hard though. If you look at your relationship you may notice signs that you two have been becoming distant--thus your unfaithfulness was really a manifestation of Deathrains desire to stray as well. What I suggest is that you approach Deathrain honestly. Explain how your relationship hasn't been what is was in the beginning. After all you, SiS, are a new person as of this last BW -- and it would save you both time and heart break to call things off now rather than at the beginning of the GW release. Good luck and remember--keep a big stick near by--just in case Deathrain loses it.

That's amazing advice Doc, not only putting my mind at ease but making me realize that Death and I are just victims of circumstance. So I've considered approaching the lynx one on one and talking it out heart to heart when I remembered that he is in fact a wild animal made tame by simple enchantment. hmmm ... so I called the SPCA.

Dear Dr. Moa, I don't know what to do. Several of my guild-mates are upset as to the Feb BW being moved... and I really don't know how to make them happy. I want to play GW as well--but I want my guild to be happy more so.
Any suggestions? -- Inda

Well Inda, you do have a tricky situation here: How to comfort your forlorn guild-mates?... I could rely on the teaching of Moa Philosophers: Does Happiness really exist?
Or I could turn to religion: Seek ye comfort in the wisdom of the Great Moa and have faith that this delay is all part of the Mighty Moa's plan.
Or I could suggest seeking inner peace through imagination: Grab your dice. Here are the stats for Charr Warrior: 20 Health, 10 Energy, 1d8 Damage Die, 2 points of Armour. 16+ to hit (d20) at level 2. They have 2 specials: Heal - 4 energy - +d6 Health; Strike: 4 energy - +2 damage, this attack only. Regen 1 energy/2 rounds, Regen 1 health/round. Give yourself some stats (start at level 2) and start killing. Give your self a new level every 15 kills. Fight as many as you want at a time. You go, they go = 1 round.
If none of these work, I suggest finding inner peace though the bottom of a stein at the Bootlicker Pub. That's where I'll be, comiserating with Deathrane and Wolfie.

Firin has had many drunk posts lately.... or, to go with what Dr. Moa said, DnD GW, you can play NWN, it's DnD with graphics, no GW, but it still rox *insert more talk about NWN to get somebody to play... * Dear Dr. Moa, A 'very' close friend of mine is sick, possibly with mononucleous (mono), how can I make her feel better? Sorry to hear about your sick friend Yoko! Remebering that I am Moa, Ph.D. not Moa, M.D., here is the relevant information from the NIH about 'mono'. So to answer your question Yoko, assuming you didn't infect your friend (and assuming you have never been infected) I would suggest only minimal comforting. She's contagious. You do not want the virus. If you must interact with her in person then follow all universal precautions: Wear gloves, face mask, sometype of disposable over-clothing, shoe covers, potentaily a 'space-suit' if you have the resources... dispose of all materials in bio-hazzard trash for inceration. Too extreme? Ok, then wash your hands and don't share any food or drinks. Your choice. And while I'm not a cannibal, I hear Chicken-Soup will cure most anything. Good Luck.

Dear Dr. Moa, I must confess... I have sinned... it has been 2 weeks since I last visited or posted with BGN My only excuse is a flu bug that knocked the sap out of me... it's been 25 years since a bug got a hold on me for more than 4 days. This Sunday marks 2 weeks since it started, I think it has passed other than a constant mild (annoying) sinus head ache and a little congestion in the morning hours. My question is reguarding the wimpy, sore (feel like I got beat by a gang of Charr Crips), lethargic physical after effects... Is there something besides Coronas + lime, Snickers bars and a good dose of BGN posts to lighten my spirits?

RedArrow,
As told by the Mighty Moa: You don't die for your sins, Charr die for your sins.
Now,
I must be very cross with you here as it seems you've found a secrete Moa recipe. Don't know who told it to you, but they're in trouble! Of course, it's not truly complete without the Charr blood, but the stars are against us there. Also, don't let Yoko trick you into drinking any Red Bull... that will definitely not help here.
Glad to hear your mostly feeling better.
