Well we've got MUSIC, BOOKS, MOVIES, and now we have.........TV!!! This is the TV quote game. You post a quote from a tv show (SMALL dialogues are ok, but you must NOT use character names...instead something like "Person 2, Person 2"). In order to get the answer correct, you must name the CHARACTER(S), and SHOW. And of course for those of you obsessed like I am any extra info is always fun, such as actors/episode names etc First quote: Earth is unprepared [helpless] for the nightmares I've seen

What do we have 2 quotes going on here?

uuum...NO. Mine is the only one that counts ...until someone guesses it correctly of course. THEN that person gets to post THEIR quote. Come on BGNers...this is the same game that's in all the other 'game' topics. You just gotta pay attention and read the posts. So, again, the First quote is: "Earth is unprepared [helpless] for the nightmares I've seen"(and if ya couldn't figure it out because of the different color, I put it in actual quotes to help ya out)

Since you lot are american... ill leave the peoples names in and let you guess the show and the episode instead. Boycie: Where d'you get those aces from? Del Boy: Same place you got those kings. I always knew you were cheating, Boycie. Boycie: Yeah, how? Del Boy: 'Cause that wasn't the hand that I dealt you. bonus points for the year too =p Oh and no brit is allowed to guess. they would get it instantly

I hope not:
The show is Only Fools and Horses. Episode: A Losing Streak
Perhaps 1982?

Alright - my name is close enough to Aeron's to take her turn. (Sorry Aeron - yell at me if you want, but I've been dying to play....)
Okay - the following is a scene between three characters which occurs in a casual setting. It's among my favorite television scenes ever written and performed. ;D I've omitted names and a couple of words which would have made this a dead giveaway. I'm not a real stickler for details so all I want is the name of the show and the episode title.
Character 1: First of all... I'd like you to be straightforward with me. How do you evaluate me as an officer?
Character 2: Your performance reports have always been good. You're thorough... dedicated...
Character 3: Reliable, steady... (beat, then, unable to come up with anything else) ...punctual.
Character 1: I see. (beat) What would you say if I told you I thought I was capable of being more than that...
Character 3: Frankly, Lieutenant... I don't think that's realistic...
Character 1: Why? Please. This is important to me. I know I can do more.
Character 2: Hasn't this been the problem all along? Throughout your career... you've had lofty goals... but you've never been willing to do what's necessary to attain them.
Character 1 (turns to character 3) Would that be your evaluation as well?
Character 3: I'd have to agree with (character 2). You talk about wanting more... but when it comes to doing something about it, you hang back. If you want to get ahead, you have to take chances... stand out from the crowd... get noticed.
Character 1: I see.
