So I'm enjoying Nightfall and taking my time with the story when it occurs to me there are only about 5 months till chapter 4... Which implies there will be a sneak-peak around New Year (maybe), since the game has got to be 75% done or more by now. So, Chapter 1-3 are a Trilogy with the events occurring more or less at the same time, and with the same basic characters involved: Menlo, Cynn, etc... So what do you think will happen next? I'd like to see the world jump a good 5-10 years ahead. This will allow for Ascalon to start rebuilding, the Krytan Monarchy to re-establish itself, the Lux and Kur to return to conflict, and I'm not far enough along on Elona to speculate what will change there. (Also, it will mean Gwen is old enough to be a proper Hero ). Guessing there will be 2 new classes, but I'm at a loss to think of anything original... Will they add another continent? I guess they could easily as they have Australia, the Americas, S. Africa, Central Asia, etc to choose from... Well, let's get to guessing and if anyone finds any real info post here or make a new thread....

I'm still surprised we haven't seen the sunken Kingdom of Orr yet. Probably nothing but an archipelago of atolls is left, with life clinging desperately to the rocks. However down below the sea, protected by it's powerful magics an entire civilization carries on the best it can after having been violently swept away from the surface world in the Cataclysm.
I picture it as being reminiscent of the infamous Underdark, though I hope we can do without the Sahugin

Maybe a prequel about Orr? However the idea of being in a sunken kingdom does sound intresting. Hopefully no more luxon/kurzick. May Factiosn rest in peace (in hell). Maybe in south america. Can anyone say Amazons? Still think a shape shifter would be a good idea. Or a mounted char a knight or such.

What about pygmies? Although Amazons do sound nice... Aren't Paragons sort of fruity/pretty boy amazons? --I still like the idea of a Witchdoctor though

I'm still hoping for a sequel to prophecies, it was kinda left open with the white mantle without order, Ascalon saved from the Charr (Be nice to see Ascalon Reborn or something), settlers in Kryta. The dwarves still fighting. Plenty of material there plus Orr is based in the continent of Tyria. But maybe they should release one or two different locations before we got back eh?

That would be nice. I think the logistics would be difficult though. Anet tends to keep things locked into one time period, with the exception being Pre-Sear in which case you can never go back once you go Post.

I looked in my Nightfall book and it does say 'Cantha begins trading with Tyria, Elona, and the northern areas.'
Just like that though... not capitalized and it doesn't really specify north of whom. North of Cantha? North of Elona?

Maybe the next release can be a polar landscape with frozen tundra, ice forests, ice caves and crystal wonderlands. Maybe even a crystal palace or two...

New skill: Walrus Charge [elite] Slide on your belly into your opponent. You move 66% faster for 3 seconds and opponent is knocked down unless they are in a stance.
Penguin Stance: You move 33% slower, but are immune to cold for 5...20 seconds.

No ozone hole means that the extra radiation mutates Morbs into a super-evil, hyper-badass Mega-Necro hell-bent on taking over the world, Abbadon-style. Meanwhile, the polar explorations will unearth some strangely beautiful, invulnerable 'crystals.' Extended excavation leads to discovery of a crystal 'fortress' encasing a man in a skintight blue and red outfit (with purple BGN cape), who wakes up to defend the world from Evil Morbs.
Welcome to the Guild Wars--City of Heroes--City of Villians 'three-way' extravaganza event!
LOL...sorry--just had to make myself laugh on a slow Sunday morning...

I think that whatever they do they should definatly add a bone palace with hordes and hordes of undead ie necros with maxed minnions etc. Make it harder for ppl to get to the palace like with FoW and the Forge Master but harder.... a lot harder

What? Chapter 4 right around the corner? No! I still have too much to do. I just started another character and my Paragon just got a green spear to use and a collectors shield and she needs to get to the next mission and......oh, wait. New lands? Maybe icy enviornment, frozen tundra and a Walrus Charge elite skill? OK, lemme get out my wallet. Time for Angel to get on the consumer tredmill again. Count me in.

kind of stupid to look at it like "err derr they did asia and africa, so howabout astrailia" any intellignet person would see the asian theme of factions is more than just china/japan would see india as well. also this person would know that paragons are to play off the role of the romans vs egyptians in real history. and that the blending of different cultures makes people look stupid trying to fit them into your schemas. duh. hell the native american art is so prevalient in ni\tefall also that people who generalize are kind of lame.
hopefully anet iwll give is something that people wont be able to be so stupid to. in chapter 4.

So in short - welcome to the Beguine Forum! What all can we do for you?
