Colour Critique
1. Charr blood red background inlay with pure white containing an ebony emblem highlighted with an Ascalon Grey gives way to the title Blood Moor. This combination harkens back to the classic Diablo series.
2. Symbolizing the sharp contrast between good and evil, the combination Our Hero is a modernly stark ivory and ebony combination highlighted with Charr blood red.
3. This combination pulls from natures own beauty, showcasing Earth’s Harmony of a burnt orange background, an October moon yellow emblem on a grandmother’s butterscotch inlay, and an unbleached skin tone highlight.
4. Aqua Extravagance describes this multi-blue hue combination. The turquoise blue emblem provides subtle contrast to the Maine sky blue inlay, and leagued together with the ocean blue highlight all on a dark nautical blue background helps make this combination a sure crowd pleaser.
5. A deep dollar green forms the foundation for the Color of Money, the fifth in this series. The background hosts a million dollar ebony inlay with a penny copper emblem, highlighted with a Ft. Knox gold.
6. Drawing from the heritage of Prince Rurik, this royal purple background contains either a sword-silver or old-gold inlay with a blanc emblem. Providing little contrast to the background above the inlay resides the ebony highlight.
All six are wonderful combination; however, not all can move onto the final round. So without further delay, here are this year’s nomination for Asya Mordina Beguine guild colour combinations:
