Okay last night I was playing and lost my cursor and accidently hit the x on the GW window. And, since ANET hates us, it jsut closes without asking if you are sure.
I looked around including the interface options and could not find a way to disable it. Anyone know a way?

I'm not aware of a way around that. I looked around the options a bit but didn't see anything...

Guildwiki says: This works for me. That little "X" button was bugging me, too, so I just dragged it back to the menu and it was no longer on my screen. UPDATE: There are three possible "X" buttons: 1) the red "X" on the GW window title bar, when run in windowed mode; 2) an "X" that gets displayed in the same corner of the screen when GW is run full screen; 3) an "X" button that can be positioned anywhere on the screen using the method I described above. The button removal tip I described above only applies to button #3. Sorry for the confusion. The moral of the story is: Don't be clickin' if the cursor is missin'!
