So, I had to move the PCs away from the router, and I didn't want to use a wireless dongle since we constantly max out the wireless IPs our type of route will assign.
My solution: the Powerline AV 4-Port network Adapter Kit (Linksys PLSK400, cisco).
The initial test: boot the PCs in their new home, and they are both online without any odd windows messages (both running Win7 home).
Started both GW2 clients and again, no problem!
We'll see what happens once both Inda and I are gaming, but I have my fingers crossed that is will continue to work.

I use one (WD Livewire) for my stream-to-tv needs and PS3 in the living room. Hardwire without the hassle of running the wire.
