Hey BGN! Andovar from Heroes Etc... [HeEt] here. It's been a long time since most of us have played together, but with GW2 release on the horizon, we're looking to re-establish connections with old friends. We've got a spiffy new site setup, and would love for you to stop by and say hi. There's an Alliance member registration that will get you access to a good chunk of the forums. (formalities aside, you'll always be our allies So stop by and say hi over at heet.enjin.com/Hopefully we can meet up with some of you in-game for BWE3.... and beyond.

I gave up and transferred back to HeEt because I didn't see anyone in GW1 but the TeG guys. I am so glad Chandris found this website!!!! Please, don't be strangers, we have had some good times over the years. Would love to continue that!!!

Just a heads up, we have been vetting alliances for GW2 and have decided to go with this one for GW2: www.the-sentinels.net/gw2alliance/m/6331658/viewthread/3547956-alliance-information-thread/post/lastCurrently, there is no provision for alliances for GW2. So there has been a lot of behind the scenes work going on to get things set up to be able to play together between guilds since BWE1. This alliance is a loose confederation, all guilds keep their autonomy and decide how they want to play the game, of guilds that are looking to be competitive in WvW while still playing all the other aspects of GW2. They have a 200 person Teamspeak set up for alliance use for comms and the forum referenced above. Because of the experiences in BWE1, the guild being scattered across servers, we were looking for something where everyone from the guild/alliance would be able to get together on one server at release. We were looking for an alliance which covered all of the different play options in GW2 sPvP, WvW, PvE, crafting , etc. For BWE3 we will be moving from Fort Aspenwood to Quarrel Falls to play with the alliance above. If you guys, including the GOD alliance, are interested in something like this just contact Cosian for details so you guys can decide for yourself if it fits where BGN is trying to go for GW2.

Also, if it helps, they are putting on a meet and greet. It will give you guys a chance to talk to real people and get any questions you might have answered. THE ORIGINAL POST IN SENTINELS SITE: ____________________________________________________________________ There will be an alliance 'Meet & Greet' social event hosted on the Amazon Basin TS3 server. In addition to getting together on TS3, we will be side-barring this with IRC as well. So consider not only an opportunity to get to know some of our allied members, this an opportunity to get setup on IRC and TS3 .... two things you will want get done! AB has graciously offered their Teamspeak server for alliance use. They use TS3. You can download it here: www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads. The address is ts.theamazonbasin.com port 9987 and the password is cl0ud9. That is a zero in the password. Remember to setup push to talk. IRC Setup - www.the-sentinels.net/gw2alliance/m/6331658/viewthread/3539617-quarrel-falls-irc-channelIRC Easy Web Client Page - www.the-sentinels.net/ircPlease at least pop and say Hi if you can! Details follow: Event Name: QF Alliance Meet and Greet Event Start: Wednesday, Jul 18, 08:30:00 pm (GMT -4) (8:30 Central) Event End: Wednesday, Jul 18, 09:30:00 pm (GMT -4) (8:30 Central) Created By: Damarus The Quarrel Falls Alliance is hosting a community meet and greet on Wednesday, July 18th. This is a great opportunity for members of the alliance to give a friendly hello and have some good discussion. July 18th is just a couple days before the final beta weekend, and just a ~month away from release. Logistics July 18th, 2012 8:30pm Central (~hour long) Teamspeak 3 - Amazon Basin Server We ask for everyone's help in making sure our alliance members and friends are aware of the meeting, and making sure they feel welcome to join. Make sure they are prepared for some embarrassing ice breakers. There will also be free margaritas, but there will absolutely not be free cookies. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Just as an update we ended up playing on Stormbluff Isle for BWE3. We were able to get all of HeEt & TEG on the server so setting up the guild from scratch went pretty smoothly this time. Last I checked the server was at medium on Sunday. Even with not having the high pop we did respectably in WvW all weekend. We came in second behind Darkhaven Friday. 3rd was Isle of Janathir. Won Sat against Jade Quarry & Ehmry Bay & finnished second behind Jade Quarry on Sunday with Sea of Sorrows coming in 3rd. We've posted some Youtube videos of the game play (WvW & PvE) on our site if your interested??? And, as always any of you guys are welcome at the HeEt site. If you haven't already registered just use the Ally form and put your from BGN we'll take care of you...

Hello my friends... If there is anything I can do to help out let me know??? I know you guys are going through the process of getting reorganized while at the same time trying to figure out what you want to do for launch. No matter what you guys decide try and stay in touch. There is still the guesting option in GW2 to play with friends!!! You guys were good to me when HeEt went through a dry spell in GW1. I'll never forget that....

Tossing my 5 cents into the thread: TEG was scattered all over hells half acre for the first couple betas. We decided to give Stormbluff Isle a try for Beta3, and tried the informal alliance that the Heet'ers were trying. Good bunch of guilds, nice cross-section of pve/pvp/wvw. We've decided we like the community and are going to stick with Stormbluff as our home. I can't imagine tearing up Tyria without our beloved BGN buddies, so I hope you guys consider joining us on Stormbluff Isle for launch. We're also ramping up a new forum at theetherealguard.enjin.com/ so feel free to head over there and register on the site.

Chay did a great job redesigning the forum there for us. I played with it for just a couple of minutes before I got dragged away and Aangy has her nose so deep into The Wheel of Time that I wonder how she breathes.
I have been looking at this forum now and then for a long time and I don't know how I didn't see the new activity in this forum till today. I've been really hoping to coordinate with you guys for launch but I lost touch with everyone. Having my Guild Wars account hacked twice in the last 6 months is a very bad excuse, but it certainly impacted my motivation to log in there and make my presence known.

Alright guys, BGN hasn't quite decided on a server yet, but I supposed in light of TeG and Heet's decision I'll start a discussion about where BGN wants to go.
