With GWEN, players get a book with entries for each of the dungeons. To facilitate the filling of the entries and to add some alliance get-together-thingies, weekly dungeon runs will be done for September and October. Like mission madness, the day of the week will alter to give everyone an opportunity to participate. Everyone is encouraged to come.
The first dungeon run will be Monday September 10th at 8:30ish Central Time in Olafstead. Since GWEN is just a week old, we'll start with an early dungeon, Raven's Point, to allow those that haven't had a chance to explore everywhere.
I look forward to seeing everyone.

Ok. Here's a stupid question:
NP and I haven't gotten all that far on the storyline yet. When do we get access to the dungeons? Or is that independent from the story lines?
I mean, we've gone into a few dungeons on the main storyline, but I don't think this is what you're talking about.
I'm a n00b.

The dungeons are all over in EOTN. If you have run into any during the storyline, then you are in one of the dungeons Asya is talking about. Try clearing out a whole dungeon (all levels), its not so easy unless you come prepared, or you are very good. I believe there is at least one dungeon per storyline. At least you have to go thru part of one per line anyway. Some quests are to defeat the end boss in a dungeon. It does not take much effort to get to one either. It does however take alot of effort usually to kill the boss and/or the last level or so.

I was in one last weekend where I encountered groups of 6 critters and 4 of them could res. Was a bear trying to take those groups out because as soon as you killed something, 3-4 others scarambled to bring them back again. Actually, it was extremely annoying because I HATE when things I kill don't stay dead...

Be sure to bring your dungeon masters guide with you. If it's not on your person you don't get credit for completion, as I learned to my dismay at 2am this morning.
:/
As for me, monday I'll be at work (as usual). Maybe on the next go round.

I'm glad for this. Me and Red went in to beat Cyndar The Mountain Heart...... failed miserably. Thats not much time to do damage to him after taking out the carapice, and before he goes underground and regens to full health.

I mean, we've gone into a few dungeons on the main storyline, but I don't think this is what you're talking about. I'm a n00b. They are infact the same dungeons you run during the missionettes, except in explorable mode, and there's a big ol' chest at the end with a gold item for everyone. If you did the missionette where you had to light barrels, then this is the same one. Look forward to seeing everyone tonight.

Sure! Thanks for the reminder. Last Thursday was a ghost town, so I'll proably avoid that day. The start time is a little earlier to accomidate those wishing to go to sleep at a normal hour. *cough* tremor *cough* Friday Oct. 5th 8:00 CT'ish Arachni's Haunt dungeon.

LoL! My apologies Asya. I did not mean for you to change the start time for this. I am online quite a bit, so I can find people to run dungeons with. So don't feel like you have to change the time for my arse ....

I was online and a bit late last thursday and when I asked over chat how things were going I got no response. Was the first time I managed to be free for the event too.
Sorry to hear that you guys were not just too busy to respond :/

Sorry for the confusion Quint. The previous dungeon run was Wed. The Thursday comment was just a general comment about thing in GW being quite dead on Thursday night. Guess everyone is busy watching TV -- Survivor, CSI, Grey's, Earl, The Office, etc.

Bad night for me too. Hopefully I'll catch the next week.
BTW-Thursdays work great for NP and I. If anyone else would like to do the occasional Thursday run (even if it's separate from these dungeon demise runs) let me know.

There seems to be interest in doing more dungeons. So lets start this back up again. Next Dungeon run will be Thursday, November 1st @9:00pm Eastern. We will be doing Tekk's or Giriff's War out of Gadds Encampment in Sparkfly Swamp. If anyone needs the map point, feel free to let me know in game or here so we can get it for you before the above date.
