Hey guys (and gals)!
I know I haven't been around much, mainly because I got entirely burned out of Guild Wars, and due to lots and lots and lots of work. (end part of A levels + new part-time job with over 4x the hours= Hard work)
However, news of GW2 has given me invigoration. It sounds exciting. More fluid gameplay, advancement forever without people getting too powerful or PvP being imbalanced, skills that work differently depending on what you are doing when you click them. Ideas stolen from other MMO's such as public quests from WAR (the whole, an event takes place in the game world, everyone can take part, people who take part get rewarded based on how much they participate thing).
Also, the fact that they seem to be limiting the skills slightly warms my heart. Old folks may remember that I used to be into PvP quite a lot back in the days of prophecies- but with the introduction of Factions and then Nightfall, I felt absolutely overwhelmed with the number of skills- making finding combos ridiculous.
I can't wait to see what the Norns look like, mainly because the Norns are what you played with in the Creatures series of games, and I am wondering if they are in any way similar (though I know they won't be).
Hopefully my time won't be too split, as I am very interested in WAR at the moment (being the leader of the largest RP/RvR guilds around at the moment). Oh and then theres that little thing called university, but pfft, who needs education when you can have MMO's!
