Well, first off, I have high hopes for Guild Wars 2, and Anet has proven to be pretty good about not dissapointing

Hrmmm-- "In the hall you can store achievements that can then be transferred to a Guild Wars 2 account.
This hall will be located in a sort of base of operations you can establish in Eye of the North. "

I wonder if they are going to save your toon names from one to the other. Seems like that will be hard.
Another thing is this lvl cap. It will keep you from making other characters. I kind of like palying different character classes. But if I'm trying to get to lvl 100 I'm not going to waste my time.

Yes, that seems like the major downside. I like the idea of having more to do with my favorite girl, but I'll miss the others an awful lot. Richer story and experience with the one could certainly lead to less room to have many characters. But if it's deeper, will I miss them?! Hard to know.
I did read somewhere that they're talking about less skills in GW2 and more variety with them. (IE, power shot while jumping=different results than power shot while standing.) I kind of like that as I'm getting overwhelmed by the sheer number of skills at this point.

There was a forum post someone linked to that said they will reserve names for GW 2. I think that's a nice thing for them to do, though it's pretty unlikely that anyone would pick one of my names regardless.
