Sweet! I really like the part about being able to customize the Henchies. That's long over due.
And 4 new guild halls too...
I wonder if they will come with armor, buy their own, or if you have to supply them with armor, and weapons...

and they level up with you? What does that mean? I mean I know what leveling is. Are they saying henchies will now start out at your level and level up when you do?
Also, are we or are we not getting mofre slots with nightfall?

From what I've seen, ANet will be offering players new slots at the cost of $10 each, with a maximum of four new slots, making an account maximum of 10 character slots. So, I doubt that the newest chapter will include new player slots for free. However, for 4 additional slots you pay $40. That's the price of a normal PC game. The new chapter will be about $50 on release, so hopefully we'll get some sort of concession if new slots aren't included. Maybe 2 PvP-only slots.

doesn't that basically penalize those of us who already have slots filled by first two chapter chars? It will suck to have to delete a char just to try a new class...BUY additional slots?...I think it is a rip off that you only get 2 slots in Cantha when you add it to your account, instead of the four slots (same cost) for starting a new account...I feel a revolution in the making...

They almost have to give 2 character slots with the new chapter don't they? ...

Also, are we or are we not getting mofre slots with nightfall? I think what they mean by henchies leveling with us is that they change levels in certian towns, like they do in Tyria, and a little bit in Cantha, they're just trying to be sneaky I suppose, but we'll see.

If they release the game at $30 they could offer us the choice of deleting a character to save money or paying an additional $20 for two slots. Releasing twice a year they can afford to publish at $30 per unit.

Releasing twice a year they can afford to publish at $30 per unit. True, but the problem is that Anet insists that every chapter is a "stand-alone" game. I couldn't imagine a better way to piss new players off, than not giving them character slots.

Perhaps they will work that into the "Guild Wars Official Store" that was temp. on the char selection screen. They could offer the full stand alone version though retailers, and a "slimmed down" version as a downloadable client, through th online store, as well as the purchase of additional slots. I hate paying full retail and only getting two slots...am I alone in this? but I have put forth this arguement before, haven't I...lol

I think 2 slots are enough when you get 2 more classes. Most likely you'll be able to buy Nightfall through the store but I'm sure it will be exactly the same as the boxed version. I bought my key for factions from the ncsoft page and I think the downloadable client was available when prophecies was released too.

If they do not offer new slots with Nightfall I wil seriously have to think about not buying it.
