Okay I was running to Sanctum Cay from Fisherman's Haven to the crafter there to get armor 57 for my Ele when I noticed an item on the ground. At the time I was running from some baddies so I just picked it up. When I looked at it later I noticed that it said Tattered Girl's Cape (Quest Item). Could it be Gwen's cape? I don't have a quest for it. Something for later or maybe in the Fissure or Underworld?

I've also seen a broken flute outside this place near Old Ascalon. She probably got killed, but it'd be cool to see her grown up and her being this Monk/Mesmer type character like LV30 or something.

Well I think the Tapestry shred is a 'Quest Item" while the Tattered Cape is a 'Rare Crafting Material'... so I wonder what you can make with it... hmmm....

I think Gwen is now leading a resistence in the expansion (with her giant wookie friends).

Maybe you can craft a golem of Gwen with it. I've had the broken flute in storage forever. Have not run across the tattered cape yet.

I noticed that a while ago. I also noticed in the Underworld, her parents. Right when you get into the UW, there's a lot of ghosts there, wait around and let them talk. 2 of them (man and woman) talk about how they miss daughter and they want to know where Gwen is. I think these items have something to do with them. Perhaps if you give them the items, you will get a reward. I'm not 100% sure, as I've never tried it, but it seems as likely as anything.

Hey, I never knew you could cattle up the Farmers warthogs in KoA for a easy 20g, so there is always the possibility that this could be true.

No both are quest items, at least thats what is says in my inventory, Tattered Girl's Cape - Quest Item
There is a NPC right by where I picked it up that I did not have "time" to talk to. I plan to go back there tonight. The NPC did not have an exclamation point over his head but that does not mean anything anymore.
I long ago lost the Tapestry Shred I got from Gwen in KoA. Not sure where. Probably making room in inventory.
The broken flute for those who want to know is outside the sanitarium in Old Ascalon by the monk who gives you missions.

No both are quest items, at least thats what is says in my inventory, Tattered Girl's Cape - Quest Item Ah, guess I'll have to look at mine again... I'm certain it said crafing material when I found it... however it seems to have been re-classified since I guess...

I went and found it again so I now have 2.
Definitely Quest Item.
It is close to a NPC called Mingas the Meek who does nothing when I click on him. Pitty. I miss Gwen.

Yeah, thats what I meant too lol, salvage item. Though looking at my new cloak it does say quest item, so that means it got changed, probably so that it can either be sued in a quest they already have put in, or a quest they will put in eventually ( a return of Gwen in Chapter 2?)

Funny thing about Gwen, is that when you are in pre-searing, you can get her broken flute and give back to her, then buy a new flute and give her, then look for the other items like the cape and such. You will get points for each of these things. Let her tag along and you will see she does things too.. Later on in the game, depending on how you did things in pre-sear, she can become a mean bugger, that you won't like. You will see, later in the game. Have fun in you search for her.

So wait...Gwen shows up someplace else? If that's the case I need to go on a Gwen hunt because I haven't seen hide nor hair of her in post sear.

Inda, I'm in on the Gwen hunt! I haven't seen hide nor hair of her post-sear either. I was always thinking she'd show up as a henchie late in the Prophecies campaign or something, but never saw her after the Sear. And I still have the broken flute and tapestry shred in my Xunlai account!

Actually I hear that if you take the flute and shard to her parents in the UW and they will thank you. Warning do after you kill all baddies.
