The only regret I have is that Kim did not run out and try to save him. That would have killed two birds with one stone. (two of my least favorite chars)

LOL, Fate. You're so cruel! I always liked Edgar.
But, I do agree it would have been great if Kim got trapped outside the safe zone. It would have been even better if Jack had elbowed Kim's control freak shrink boyfriend out the door just before they sealed it. Then, we could have witnessed his gruesome death as well as Kim's agony at having to see it. ;D

My vote was for Chloe to run out after Edgar... Idiot secretary to idiot savant in just 2 seasons. That's 24 time for ya!

I sometimes think that Chloe is my favorite character on the show. There isn't an episode in which her dysfunctional social conduct doesn't make me laugh out loud.

Did no one see yesterday's ep...does no one care about Tony? *sniff*

Haven't seen it yet, but figured that he might be the one making the 'ultimate sacrifice.' I'll miss oogling his rear end, that's for sure. The whole Tony/Michelle story is soooo depressing from beginning to end.

Tony was originally supposed to die in the season opener, along with Michelle, but the writers decided to wait a bit. We'll miss ya, Tony. That's four regular/recurring characters taken out so far this season.
Poor Chloe. No respect. She has the social skills of a turnip yet her smarts have saved the day time and time again.
CTU: Yes, you can walk right in with a hacked keycard (a card which the security guards neglect to verify against an independent database), but by golly we keep the thermostat protected behind 2-inch iron bars!
If Homeland Security runs CTU the way they run FEMA, we're in big trouble.

Well what do you expect from people who are told that their is nerve gas and they don't turn of the ventilation? not only at CTU but at the Hospital where they had plenty of warning.
Yes. I'm sure that if the guards at a place like CTU do not know you personally they would not let you in without calling an independent source.
There is a character named Tony? Always hoped he would go suicidal and take Kim with him.
But we must remember this is fiction.

So they turn on the A/C and all is OK. Exactly where did the gas go when they turned on the A/C? If it left the building, then isn't all of LA is dead, as CTU is just 5 mintues from everything in LA.

Wasn't it fantastic when Chloe spilled the coffee on that little Homeland Security weasely guy last week?
And wasn't it even more fantastic when Jack rigged that data chip to fry in the German agent's PDA?
And how come all the people running the United States' government are either morally weak, incompetent, weird, crazy or just plain evil?
VP Hale: "Martial Law! This is what I've been waiting for my whole life. The chance to impose Martial Law!" *takes off clothing and jumps into lazy river thing that flows around the Presidential retreat.* "Whoopeeee!"
Edit: New from the 3/27 episode (I'm a week behind) - LOL that there's now somebody more socially inept and kooky at the controls in CTU. "Did you see the way his arm brushed against my shoulder when he said that. He shouldn't have done that!" That made me laugh like a lunatic. ;D

That's the best part! Thank god he's not an idiot. He's evil, but he's not an ignoramus. He has everyone fooled - probably even his wife. The second half of the season is saved!
Edit: New Stuff Back OT and possible spoilers
I have not watched last night's 24 yet, but it looked to me like it was going to be an excellent ep with lots of action and plot development. The last ep was kind of a slow burn just setting us up for some stuff, I thought. Looks like - and since I didn't watch, I don't know - Bill Devane is done for. Rats, rats, rats 'cause I was really hoping he might get to be the president next season. Of course - my feelings for him changed a bit when he sucker punched Jack in the neck.....
