I saw Sin City over the weekend. Was a little worried it might be another Kill Bill which was not one of my favorite movies. I really liked it. It was vusally stuning, not talking about just the eye candy either. A little violent for my tastes but good over all. My only question is why there is a yellow Ferengi in it? For all the Kill Bill fans out there, I really don't want to debate whether it was a good movie or not.

Cool, good to here it's a good movie. Rather interesting Morbid bait that you retracted there Fate. I would ask that his request be honored and keep Kill Bill discussions to PMs or a new thread. Firemarshal X, just trying to put the out smoldering fires...

Yep, Sin City is a visual feast. As far as being a literal translation of the comic page to the screen, it's about the best I've ever seen. But, if you're not into film noir-ish dialogue and bloody, brutal violence, you might not enjoy it. Thumbs up for style, thumbs sideways for story and content.

I have a question about the movie, it looks really good, I really want to see it...but is it suitable for those in my age group (15)?

Without knowing you or what sort of movies you've been exposed too, that's a hard question to answer. It's a hard R, for some nudity but mostly for the violence, so no, it's not really aimed at your age group. You'd have to confer with your parental unit(s) or guardian.

I have a question about the movie, it looks really good, I really want to see it...but is it suitable for those in my age group (15)? I thought it was too violent for my age group! It was very violent. If I had a 15 year old I wouldn't want them to see it. There is some very deep and disturbing stuff in this movie. Espcially about violence to children which is only in dialogue but still disturbing. As far as sex and nudity, not much more than you see on soap operas. Some naked breasts. And I'm guessing you see more explicit on the the web sites you visit. Eliajah Wood plays a very interesting character. The prostitutes of Old Town were really cool.

Note: I have not seen the movie yet.
HOWEVER...if any of you ever followed the comics, I've read a lot of info that it stays true to them. So if you know the stories, that'll help you judge whether you should see it or not.
Me personally...if I was 15...I'd still see the movie, but that's just me.

Don't rely on Llama. I've seen some of the stuff he watches. It's not suitable for anyone! There should be a disclaimer on anything Llama watches: NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN, TEENS, ADULTS, SERIAL KILLERS, PORN STARS, ETC. ;D

Going to see it this week with a friend, from what I've seen so far it really holds true to Frank Miller's stylistic form and feel. Wondering how well "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" is going to turn out? Someone needs to do some Lady Death and Vampirella eh Morbs

Someone needs to do some Lady Death and Vampirella eh Morbs I still have a bunch of Vampirella comics (and Creepy, too). Haven't priced them in a while. I wonder what they're worth...

I need to see this movie as I am a big comic fan and I think Frank Miller is brilliant. Hang on to them Vampirella books Eld, they are definite keepers.

I heard that Hitch Hikers wasn't going to be that true to the book. The book, and TV series were not 'PG-13' material as I have heard, yet the film is only PG/PG-13...

The book is tame for the most part but when books are turned into movies things tend to get a little bit..."Spicy" I guess you could say.
