Ok I was going to create a poll, but that got too confusing because I was not sure exactly what I wanted to poll.
It seems that we have people here who like LOST and BSG. I would like to have permanent subjects on the forum to discuss these shows. HOWEVER...you have the problem of spoilers and such. So we could have spoiler and non spoiler sections, or not. I'm not sure. And what about stickying anything?
Am suggested to me that I create a subsection for it, but then what do you have in that subsection...general TV?
Not sure about any of this...any thoughts/comments?

Well - a section for general tv wouldn't be so bad because then we could have threads for other shows as well. Fate and I (and likely nobody else) watch American Idol and have had a bit of banter on that topic.
And as for the issue of spoilers, I think a simple warning at the beginning of the post that spoilers are included will suffice - at least until and if the discussion gets really big and popular. If that happense, you could re-evaluate the organization of the threads.

Of course, with the BSG finale coming up this week, I'm not sure how long we'll be able to sustain a discussion beyond that. Not that I won't try.

Next week is the mini-Season Finale. It's a special 90 minute episode. What do you all think of these mini-seasons? I personaly don't like them. I barely start to get into things again and then it's over.

I don't like them either. I really, really like that the seasons start during the summer, though, since it means there's something new to watch.

I don't care for Sci-Fi's split seasons either. They're even putting out DVD releases that way now. The first half of season 2 of BSG is out as "Season 2.0". I imagine the second half of the season will be out later this spring as "2.1". Very confusing. I'll wait until the whole season is in a single offering...
Oh, I also don't like the way Best Buy gets these early no-frills DVD releases before the official studio releases. I almost got burned on BSG Season 1 that way.

ok this is completely off topic but...
Originally there was not going to be a BSG split season...there were only supposed to be 13 eps like the first season, however SciFi ordered more eps for a total of 20...hence the split. AND a normal season of a show is around 22eps....so the 20eps is almost like a regular season of any show.
On Topic I might create a television section where we can discuss tv related things...perhaps I'll combine a television with movies section.

I picked up 2.0 heck with it... I also bought all releases of ROTR because there were some things included in the first releases that weren't on the extended release such as Enya's video. Please don't spoil Lost or 24 for me I am going to catch up on them with the DVD releases
