Possible Spoiler alert.
OK, just watched tonights Battlestar. It's plainly obvious that Baltar has Psylon(sp?) like abilities in that there are either multiple copies of him or his body can be reborn upon death. But it's also obvious that the other Psylons are not aware of him as one of them. If we assume that he IS a Psylon, then is he a newer model that the Psylon God created? If so, what is He trying to accomplish? Or perhaps there is a renegade Psylon faction doing its own thing? Or is he the Kwisatz Haderach?

MORE SPOILERS Cool theory, but that's not it at all. Just like Baltar has a copy of Number 6 in his head, this instance of Number 6 (the one that was with him on Caprica and wormed into his life so she could get him to shut down the planet's defenses for the Cylon attack) grew attached to him, and now she has a copy of him in HER head. Like the instance of Sharon that's on Galactica, she is different, and has developed a strong emotional attachment to a human. Really cool episode, and a fascinating turn of events. I need to watch it again when I'm not playing GW. This is truely the best show on TV.

Just an observation. Did anyone else notice another human/cylon? I thought I saw a black man at one of the tables. Maybe he will pop up later.

That's the doctor from the ep where Starbuck was held captive and ended up meeting the resistance fighters.

Finally watched the ep tonight, so I could read this thread. Yeah - that black man threw me for a minute too, but then I remembered him as the doctor. This was a cool episode. Some of the Cylons are evolving. Kara's lover is still alive. And I'm heartbroken for the Galactica Sharon and Helo. Can't wait for the final two episodes, but am dreading life without BSG for the long months between now and about July when it is likely to resume again. If it gets renewed.....Scifi could always pull a Farscape on us! If that happens, look for the entire cast to show up on SG-1.

Still OT Yeah - but Crichton and Aeryn were better..... You're right though, Claudia Black makes SG-1 better. Thank gods. *Pining for Farscape. Absolutely Pining!*

Did anyone else gasp/cheer when #6 woke up and turned and saw Baltar ... Then, 10 seconds later cheer/gasp they pulled the proverbial carpet out from under us making it ambiguous again? I figure him for a cylon but has anyone considered the 'mental imaging and interaction' might be an artist's representation of love? --Presort

I don't think that Dr. Baltar is a Cylon, but I do think he's a little bit their pawn. Much of this season has been spent showing us, though, how he is coming into his own and learning to manipulate not only the humans but also the Cylons. He's a very dangerous guy who had better not be elected President of the Colonies. That would be a load of Felgercarb!
I do think that 6 and Baltar are in love or are at least emotionally enmeshed and that is why they appear to each other. Of course - that bit is stolen from Farscape (remember Harvey?), but what the frell. BSG is still the best drama on the box.
