Miriel- Your cat is gorgeous. Does she sleep like that on you too?
Soaring-I had a purebred kitty when I was a kid, but all that matters at the end of the day is if your pet is fun to play with, eh? Does your beagle like cat sized tennis balls? I used to live with a roomate with a beagle/basset mix and we had to buy toys that my cat and her dog could both safely play with. The biggest hits were always the "kitty balls."

With this recent flurry of pet pics, I couldn't help posting another picture from my collection. Here's Patrick, posing on a warm spring day. Isn't he handsome? ;D

Our little household has recently added a salt-water fish tank. No fish in it as yet as it takes a long time to get your salt-water environment ready for the pretty fellas. However, we do have all kinds of critters. Some we bought, like hermit crabs and snails, some just literally show up out of the rocks you buy, like tube worms, polyps, and others. The things that just "show up" are called hitchhikers. We just discovered a very cool one the other day. He's about the size of a silver dollar. We're not sure how he hid from us for so long, but he must have been snuggled in the nook of one of our rocks. Anyhow, he's very shy, but we finally caught him and snapped a picture so we could identify his species and make sure he's not the type to kill whatever other corals or fish we put in there. So, here's Larry the crab.

Haven't checked this thread in awhile. LOL - that is one giant cat! And such beautiful white fur. Here's another Pic of Patrick playing in the yard. I'm a little bit in love with him. And the latest addition to the household - our very own Gorn! He may look tough, but he turns to jello when I rub under his chin. ;D

We got a puppy! She's only 3 months old. She's a shepherd mix (what's in the mix, we have no clue...based on her muzzle I'm guessing hound of some variety). Since we couldn't think of a name that we all liked, our daughter suggested Mystery. So, Mystery she is (we couldn't think of a name, we don't know what breeds are in her, and we don't know how she survived out in the woods where animal control found her and her litter mates). Without further ado.... Sleeping puppy... For an idea on her size here's her next to the slide (on which is the almost 6 year old kidlet)
