OMG! I remembered a while back I wanted to answer this, but figured someone would do it before me.

"Driving around the country now, I still see things that will remind me of Hailsham. I might pass the corner of a misty field, or see part of a large house in the distance as I come down the side of a valley, even a particular arrangement of poplar trees up on a hillside, and I’ll think: “Maybe that’s it! I’ve found it! This actually is Hailsham!” Then I see it’s impossible and I go on driving, my thoughts drifting on elsewhere."

(2) A beautiful and attractive young woman, in wickedness a league beyond the devil. also have you all checked out Project Gutenberg lately? www.gutenberg.org/

Ah hell, since you got my movie quote correct, I have to do this one. Old school lol: The Devil's Dictionary!! ::: Ambrose Bierce (quite fitting for me eh?) ...although I don't own it. My school library has/had this book and I read through all of it...although never considered it a "book." They also have another favorite "dictionary" of mine, but I'll save that in case I want to use something from there in the future.

The greatest advantage of being and unknown witch is the opportunity to perform for yourself, without psychic drainage from others who expect you to work on their behalf. eh, figured I'd keep our witch theme going

perhaps? you don't seem too confident there Well, I must admit, although I've read a number of books on witchcraft (of both the Wiccan and non-Wiccan variety), I have never read that particular one. It sounds like just the thing to scandalize some of my, err, "fluffier" friends. ;D In any case, here's our next book quote: I could only believe in a God who would dance. And when I saw my Devil, I found him serious, thorough, profound, and solemn: he was the Spirit of Gravity -- through him, all things fall.It is not by wrath, but by laughter, that we slay. Come, let us slay the Spirit of Gravity!I learned to walk, since then I have let myself run. I learned to fly, since then I do not need pushing to move. Now I am light, now I do fly. Now a God dances through me.
