Get Back by Zebrahead. Not my style, but I've been, uh, "subjected" to stuff like this on occasion.

wow.... it appears that I have been a bit lax in my turn for this game... it has been my turn for over 3 months and I forgot about it ::grins sheepishly::
So here's a quote to try and get the game back up and running:
[Both]There's been some confusion over rooming here at Shiz [Char 1]But of course I'll care for Nessa [Char 2]But of course I'll rise above it [Both]For I know that's how you'd want me to respond, yes. There's been some confusion for you see my roommate is [Char 2]Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe [Char 1]Blonde! [Char 2] (Text removed as title of song) so sudden and new [Char 1]I felt the moment I laid eyes on you! [Char 2]My pulse is rushing [Char 1]My head is reeling [Char 2]My face is flushing [Both](Text removed) Fervid as a flame, does it have a name, yes. Loathing!

YEAH! I know this one. It's the beginning of "What is this Feeling" from "Wicked" sung by Galinda and Elphaba!
Yay!

Okie dokie, thanks!
When you look into my eyes And you see the crazy gypsy in my soul It always comes as a surprise When I feel my withered roots begin to grow Well I never had a place that I could call my very own That's all right, my love, 'cause [text deleted]

Fantastic, Eld.
I love that song.
Billy Joel Stormfront was the first concert I ever went to. I was in 6th grade I believe. Still love that t-shirt.
You're turn.

My first (and only) Billy Joel concert was during the tour supporting 52nd Street, when he was at the height of his performing and songwriting powers. Damn good show.
Here's the next lyric:
And as I walked on Through troubled times My spirit gets so downhearted sometimes
So where are the strong And who are the trusted? And where is the harmony? Sweet harmony.

Excellent. Your turn. (Bonus points for knowing who wrote the song. Hint: it wasn't Elvis.)

I'm not sure Eld...do I get 1/2 a point for having Armed Forces on LP?
Ok so this is an easy one:
"There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief. Businessmen, they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth, None of them along the line know what any of it is worth."

"All Along the Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix.
(That Elvis tune was written by Nick Lowe, and even I don't have that album on vinyl. I do have lots of other LPs though...)

I have a pretty nifty little LP collection if I do say so myself -- a lot of it is cheese but that's what I like -- got armed forces in a used record store in KS. And yes you are correct Eld -- your turn again
