Okay almost 2 weeks. Presort why don't you come up with a new quote?

Actually it is one of my favorite scenes in this movie... Batman Begins Bruce Wayne speaking with his butler (Michael Caine),
This is a great Batman series, bout time they got him as the Dark character he was intended to be.
Enuff Danny DiVito and Jim Carrey!

Red, I think you're a few quotes behind. Presort answered that one back on August 12.

Trying to catch up. So it's Dirty Harry (gotta love Clint Eastwood for having the all time best macho tag-line) and the movie is..... ...
I'm gonna answer really... and that answer is... umm. Oh man.
Sudden Impact? God that sounds like a stupid bruce willis movie to me but there it is.

Since Presort seems to be absent I will be his proxy. You are correct Quint. Your turn.

Really? LOL the brain is a really strange device sometimes. Okay then, I don't think anyone has quoted this movie yet:
Male Star (narrating): The report read "Routine retirement of a replicant." That didn't make me feel any better about shooting a woman in the back.

Blade Runner.
Deckard - replicant or not?

Oh one of the best... didn't get a shot at that...that quote makes it too easy. The multi lighting techniques and types are so artistic and mood setting, it is a character in it's self.

Love that movie. It's always kind of amazing to me to look at the difference between that movie and Total Recall with Schwarzenegger. Both based on novels by the same author and dealing with similar themes but so utterly different in mood and effect.
And yes, the quote I picked from IMDB was too easy. I should have gone with Rutger's conversation with the doctor who created him.
Good Job Asya, your turn.

My favorite line is at the end as Roy dies...
Roy: I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the darkness at Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain. Time to die

That is Admiral Somethingmoto to you!
Your turn.
On a side note, all epic movies must involve Charlton Heston's death. I heard he has a cameo in LotR.

Okay here is one:
Char 1: [to char3, who is about to duel char 2] Are you fighting this, er, fellow? But I'm meeting him meself. Char 2: But not till one o'clock, sir. Char 4: Oh, no no no. I'm to fight him this afternoon. Char 2: At two o'clock, sir. Char 3: How long have you been in Paris? Char 2: Since eight o'clock this morning. Char 3: You waste little time, sir. Char 2: My father recommended that I fight duels. Char 3: [Laughs] Well! Let us hope you can do him some credit, hm?
Even though Heston doesn't die, special credit if yo ucan remember which char he played (even though he is not in this quote).

It hasn't aged all that well, but that was a fun movie. Okay, try this one: She: There will come a time when you have a chance to do the right thing. He: I love those moments. I like to wave at them as they pass by.

Ok. Here is one that should be pretty easy for a true fan of this actor:
Taw Jackson: In four days, Pierce is going to make the biggest gold shipment ever made out of the territory - a half a million dollars. Lomax: How are we goin' to take it? With the Prussian army? Taw Jackson: With three other fellas. Five of us. Lomax: Five. I'm kind of glad I didn't kill you tonight - you're funny as hell!
I left the character names in to make it easier.

The Great Train Robbery?
|
|
|
Post by Fate on Oct 17, 2008 10:46:48 GMT -5
Nope.
Hint not a train that is being robbed but another form of transportation. Something you might fall off of if you get drunk. Also involves a gun that fires fast (at least fast for the day).

So like I haven't been around forever and I come back to a John Wayne quote. What are the odds! The War Wagon Fate's hints are "wagon" or stagecoach and Gatling Gun.

I had to google it. I hear this actors tears cure cancer. Too bad he never cries. He endorsed y'all's governor for President. Another hint, in the movie he both hits and kicks a bad guy.
